The candidates are allowed to correct their personal details, address, exam city preference as well as their educational details.  So I think you might be able to update educational your details.

That's not necessary. If you have a job experience and your academics are good , then definitely you can make it to CAT.

But yes scoring well in CAT should be your priority.  As that would cover your gaps between academics.
