CAT is a entrance exam and IIMs are top B-school you have to give CAT for taking admission in IIMs and you have to scored well also for getting call from IIMs and then you have to clear their GD/PI then they will give you admission . basically

according to me , you should go for another chances or opportunity which you have because your score is not sufficient for getting admission in PES.
