Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that for admission into colleges, usually there is no such relaxation but exceptions can be there. I would be able to assist you better if you provide me with the names of shortlisted colleges.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Hey Swarnajit!
Jogesh Chandra Chaudhary Law College provides admission to courses such as BA LLB, BA LLB (Honours) and LLM. Admission to 5 year BA LLB programme starts immediately after the publication of results of the Higher Secondary Examination. Also, the admissions are made on the basis of an Aptitude Test directly conducted by the University of Calcutta, so it doesn't accept CLAT Scores for admission. According to my research and the official website of the college, for the admissions and aptitude test, advertisements are made in the leading newspapers and the admission forms for the aptitude test (which is necessary to be cleared in order to get admission) is issued by the University directly to the candidate offline on the production of the pass certificate of Higher Secondary or Equivalent Exam.
For admission to BA LLB Hons. course, a merit list is prepared on the basis of performance in10+2 and the first to fifth semester of BA LLB and the admission to this course (if found eligible) is done in the sixth semester. However, it has to be kept in main that the total number of seats in this course is only 30.
For admission to LLM course, an admission test is conducted by the University of Calcutta and the admissions are made directly on the basis of this test.
So, it is advised to be in contact with the college through the official website and ask them about the dates when the admission forms would be issued as till now the forms are generally issued offline as I have already stated and you can apply for the entrance test by producing the pass certificate of 10+2 or equivalent examination to the University of Calcutta. Also, keep a close eye on the leading newspapers to get any information regarding the same as the official college website clearly mentions it in the admission procedure.

Good Luck!
Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is one of the most prestigious law universities in the country and conducts law courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The admission to either UG or PG courses takes place through CLAT only, so there should be no confusion regarding acceptance of Clat scores as it is the only test for admission to RMNLU and no other tests are conducted.
