if two student get same score in clat then how there rank are decided?
Hey Ayushman!
The calculation of rank in the situation of two or more candidates securing the same score in CLAT is done by taking into consideration the CLAT Tiebreaker rules. Therefore, it may be possible that many candidates score the same marks but get different ranks. The criteria for tie breaker is as follows:-
• The candidate scoring more marks in Legal Aptitude Section is ranked higher. Therefore, many exam experts advise the aspirants to work harder for this section as it could prove to be the difference maker in the examination.
• If still the two or more candidates can't be separated and the tie still remains, then the older candidate will be ranked higher.
• If still the tie persists, then a computerized draw of lots is done to do the final ranking and end the tie.
I hope it clears your query. Good luck for the exam.
