Common Law Admission Test
Hi Rajat,
You won't get a separate degree for BA and LLB. Once you are done with your BA. LLB program you will be getting one single degree which will be issued by the University. For appearing in CLAT for undergraduate program you need class 10th and 12th certificate and for appearing in CLAT for LLM a provisional marksheet is issued by the University and that is sufficient to give CLAT exam.
Hello,
NLU cutoffs are generally very high, there is competition all across India and there are ample number of applicants. On the basis of your marks you practically have no chances for getting your seat alloted in NLUs for BA.LLB course.Even if there are vacancies you may not get a chance, try for the private collegea where you have a bit better chances than NLUs.
Thank you.

Sorry to inform you, that you can not opt NLU's LLB course for just 3 years, as, the university only offers bachelor's degree in law by pursuing course BA LLB continuously for 5 years. But there are good options for you by giving an entrance examination like CLAT/ LSAT/ NLSIU qualifying with the good percentage you can get admission in reputable colleges, like:
- Hansraj College, Delhi
- Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi
- St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore
- Faculty of Law, Allahabad University
- Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
All the best, for your further preparations!

Hello Swati!
This is the first time GGSIPU and affiliated colleges will be offering admissions on the basis of CLAT merit and not IPU CET. So as per the predicted trends and in consideration of your rank and category status, these are the colleges that may offer you admission:
Your admission will also greatly depend upon your domicile status. If you are a domicile of Delhi then your chances will be more strong as 85% seats are reserved for candidates having domicile of Delhi.
These are predictions, there can be variations in the actual allotment list.
Hope this helps. All the best!
