I will pursu my ballb hons.. from this year will i get 2 separate degrees of ba and llb or One degree. AND NOT THEN HOW WOULD A PERSON WIL

Parvesh Bansal 27th Jun, 2019

Hi Rajat,

You won't get a separate degree for BA and LLB. Once you are done with your BA. LLB program you will be getting one single degree which will be issued by the University. For appearing in CLAT for undergraduate program you need class 10th and 12th certificate and for appearing in CLAT for LLM a provisional marksheet is issued by the University and that is sufficient to give CLAT exam.

sir i have score 136/200 in clat .is there any vaccancy in any nlu for BA.LLB

Sanchari Paul 6th Aug, 2019

Hello,

NLU cutoffs are generally very high, there is competition all across India and there are ample number of applicants. On the basis of your marks you practically have no chances for getting your seat alloted in NLUs for BA.LLB course.Even if there are vacancies you may not get a chance, try for the private collegea where you have a bit better chances than NLUs.

Thank you.

I have scored 30625 rank in Clat am i eligible for getting main campus in ip?

Yash Dev Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019
Hello student I'm sorry to inform you that with this rank you can't get admission in ip main campus as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on category rank. If you want to take admission in private college just let me know so that I can provide you exact information.

Also it's very easy to predict college on careers360 by clicking on the link mentioned below its very user friendly and very helpful

I have completed my graduation in BCom. Still want to pursue 5yrs llb from NLUs next year. No 3yrs course only from NLUs. Is it possible?

Jigyashu Nager 27th Jun, 2019

Sorry to inform you, that you can not opt NLU's LLB course for just 3 years, as, the university only offers bachelor's degree in law by pursuing course BA LLB continuously for 5 years. But there are good options for you by giving an entrance examination like CLAT/ LSAT/ NLSIU qualifying with the good percentage you can get admission in reputable colleges, like:

- Hansraj College, Delhi

- Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi

- St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore

- Faculty of Law, Allahabad University

- Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra

All the best, for your further preparations!

hii ..i got 4183 rank this year through clat ..can i get a good college in ip ..and i belong to a general category

Purnima Student Expert 26th Jun, 2019

Hello Swati!

This is the first time GGSIPU and affiliated colleges will be offering admissions on the basis of CLAT merit and not IPU CET. So as per the predicted trends and in consideration of your rank and category status, these are the colleges that may offer you admission:

  • Amity University, Noida
  • Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies
  • JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus
  • Chander Prabhu Jain College Of Higher Studies
  • Delhi Metropolitan Education society
  • BLS Institute of Technology Management
  • Delhi Institute of Rural Development
  • Sri Krishna College of Education

Your admission will also greatly depend upon your domicile status. If you are a domicile of Delhi then your chances will be more strong as 85% seats are reserved for candidates having domicile of Delhi.

These are predictions, there can be variations in the actual allotment list.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Does Any Other way of reservation is available to join in NLSU banglore.... Rather than Clat exam

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 26th Jun, 2019
Hey Sidharth.
No, there is not other way for taking admission in this college. National Law School, Bangalore takes admissions only based on the entrance exam CLAT. As a matter of fact, all the National Law Universities in India accept admissions only based on this common entrance exam called CLAT. No other entrance' s score or any other score is accepted for admission in this college.
NLS Bangalore is considered the top colleges to pursue Law in India and hence the cut off for admission is very high. The previous year cut off was a rank of 66 in CLAT. So for admission here you'd have to take CLAT and secure a rank below this range for a fair chance of Admission here.
Best of luck

Will i get admission in GLS law college with 113.75 marks in CLAT 2019?

S. Saha Student Expert 26th Jun, 2019
Hello aspirant,

Yes , of course you can get seat in GLs law College, Ahmedabad.
113.75 marks In CLAT is quite good and congratulations.
GLs has the best alumni and is fairly old. Also it is located in prime areas of the city and has excellent infrastructure, even better than some NLUs. Justice MR Shah, honourable sitting judge of SC of India has graduated from here and so have some other top judges and lawyers.
Hope it helps.
Good luck...
