I actually want to do law but I have not taken CLAT or any other law test. Can I get admission in law college in Bangalore

Aman Tripathi 24th Jun, 2019
Hello

Admission without entrance is possible mostly for foreign Nationals.CLATis for admission only to the 17 NationalLawUniversities and some privatecolleges. ... By taking otherlawentranceexams. Ifnot CLAT, youcouldappear for AILET, Symbiosis, AMU, BHU, LSAT, BLAT.

But there are many private colleges in banglore where you can try for admission .

Best of luck

I have scored 131.25 marks in clat 2019 and 2590 rank and I want to know that can I get hnlu raipur college in vacant seat list? If not then

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 24th Jun, 2019

Generally HNLU Raipur has a closing rank of somewhere near 550. But even if they are left with vacant seats then also it will be a little difficult to get into the college with the rank you're mentioning. But you can certainly look out for the newer NLUs.

Good luck

Hi I belong to general category. My Clat rank is 11002. Which private colleges can I get?

Purnima Student Expert 24th Jun, 2019

Hello Aspirant!

Considering the CLAT 19 cutoffs in the allotment lists and expected trends, it seems difficult for you to get into any NLU.

But you can consider other private and government law colleges that may provide  admissions at this score and rank. Naming a few:

  • ICFAI Hyderabad
  • School of Law, Gitam University, Visakhapatnam
  • Alliance School of Law, Bangalore
  • LPU , Ludhiana
  • Raffles University, Rajasthan
  • Manav Rachna Faridabad
  • Chandigarh University
  • Constituent Colleges of IPU
  • Bennett University, Greater Noida
  • Chandigarh Group of Colleges,Landran
  • UPES Dehradun
  • Amity University etc.

You can consider the above mentioned universities and colleges for admission. Apart from these there are many other as well. These are good enough and may provide you great opportunities to learn and grow.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello Gourav, according to your score in CLAT 2019,their is no chances for you to get seat in NLUs and according to your LSAT score, chances is less for you to get seat in government law colleges. You should apply for the private law colleges on basis of your score in the CLAT 2019.

My rank in CLAT is 9750, Will I get admission in any national law schools if vacant seats are there after the first allotment and I am comin

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 24th Jun, 2019

Hello Sofy,

Based upon the rank you have scored it will not be possible for you to get a seat in the NLUs.The cutoffs for the first rounds are already released by the NLUs and the cutoffs as it was expected are different and a bit high than the last year.TThe seats are less with respect to the number of candidates applying for seats in NLUs in the counselling.Competition is there in every category including general an even the reserved category students.

I would suggest you to apply for the private law colleges where you have quite better chances of admission than the NLUs.Below is the college predictor link, try that link to find out your tentative colleges

Thank you.

My marks is 83 in Clat is there is any way to get any Lowe law college.....or any other option.

ATIN KATOCH 23rd Jun, 2019

Hello Aditya,

Fir getting admission into any college you need clear its required cutoff set by the university/college.

For CLAT2019 cutoff would probably go high as the merit this time went higher than CLAT2018.

Thus with your score in CLAT 2019 it seems quitr difficult for you to get into NLU's around the country however u may look for any government college under state Universities if they accept applications through CLAT.

Good Luck

I have been retained my previous seat but I havent freezed it in the 2nd Round & I want Law in VIPS .

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2019

Hello

Its okay youe previous seat will be retained in the next round if you have placed VIPS on top so in the nest round your seat will be retained.

In next round you can get a college which you have placed above VIPS,next round is supposed to be third round but due to delay it may be sliding round and spot round is always done in the end.

Hope it helps.
