Hi Amit, considering your marks you must obtained rank in the range of 13000-14000. You may get one of the private institution accepting CLAT scores.  Few of the Institutes accepting CLAT score are Delhi Institute of Rural Development,  Vivekanada Institute of Professional Studies and other colleges of IP University.

You have a good chance of making it to one of the bottom 5 NLUs namely NLU Assam,  Tamil Nadu,  DSNLU, NLU Ranchi and NLU Nagpur.  Please keep an eye on the vacant list as well.  Vacant list notifications are published on the website of each NLU separately. 

With the rank you're mentioning I'm afraid you have less chances of getting an NLU but you can definitely look out for these colleges

• Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology 
• ICFAI Dehradun 
• ICFAI law school Hyderabad

Admission to National Law University depends upon the rank ( Category Rank) that you would have attained.  Now if your category rank is the range of 600-1000 then you can expect a call from a top notch NLU and you may also get into RGNLU, Patiala.

You will have to fill in the counseling form regarding your preference of NLUs and based on your preference and rank you will be allotted one of the NLU. Preference once filled cannot be altered so your preference should be filled carefully.

Yes,  definitely you have a real good chance to make it to RGNLU. Keep a check on the list of vacant seats Notification just in case you are not allotted seat during the Counseling round however considering the previous trend you are surely getting into RGNLU in the
