Burdwan Medical College is quite good for Post graduation courses. The overall infrastructure and campus is good. All the teachers here in this college are doctors and very much qualified.
The placements offered by this college are quite decent. The average salary package is near INR 20000 per month. Also, this college offers compulsory one year internships to its students.

In 2019, the cut offs for MDS have been decreased. This happens when the no.of seats available are more even after the counselling has been over. This has to be given an approval from the Ministry of Health in consultation with the DCI. But the chances for MCI reducing the cut offs are less because of the lesser no.of seats that are available. But nothing can be ruled out at this point in time as this is too early.
