Competition
Hello,
Considering the increase in competition due to the 5 months gap you could expect around 97-97.5 percentile at 150 marks this year(i.e,around 27000-33000) rank.
Also it depends on the difficulty level of the paper of the shift you are in.
Hello student ,
I will suggest you that if you are capable then prepare for both but when the exams arrive, just before a month or two get totally dedicated towards boards. As your percentage in boards also matters a lot to appear for any competition. Every competitive exam follows it’s own eligibility criteria and almost in every exam you’ll find a section that makes a certain percentage of marks in your board examination compulsory to appear in that competition. So, when it’s board time just focus on your board’s syllabus else you keep on preparing for also .
Hope it helps !
JEE mains is scheduled between September 1 to September 6 ,2020. It is a gateway to become eligible to give JEE Advanced and to get admission in NITs, IIITs. Around 10 million students give JEE Mains every year. The total marks in JEE mains 2019 is 360 marks, but from 2020, the total marks are 300. There are total 75 questions with 3 sections each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Each correct answer gives you 4 marks, while for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted from your score. So, to get 99 percentile, it is important that you solve maximum number of questions as you can. Also, from the questions you solve try that your maximum answers are correct and very less are incorrect. If you follow this strategy and you get around 220 marks in JEE Mains, you will get 99.75 percentile in JEE and CRL is also very good, making you eligible to take JEE Advanced and you can also take admission in top branches in top NITs.
Hey!
As per the previous years records, 95 percentile would be score around somewhere 100-120 and the rank would be around 40,000-45,000. However trend changes every year and it also depends on the toughness of paper. To know more, kindly visit our page at

Good Luck
Hi,
I would like to share my opinion in this. You don't need to have an engineering degree to get a good job. There are various other fields too where you can get a good job such as banking, teaching, MBA etc. You can even apply for govt jobs as well as civil services through SSC, UPSC, etc. However, if your interest is in engineering, then you can go for B.E. which doesn't requires JEE exam.

Hello aspirant
As the competition is increasing day by day, you need to score atleast 190 marks in JEE Mains to get a rank under 10K. The JEE Mains is of total of 300 marks. 75 questions are asked from each section: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for wrong answer. For integer type questions, no mark is deducted.
So, to get a rank under 10K, will fetch you admission in top NITs and also, in good branch. So, you have to score minimum 190 marks to get such ranks, Try to score as maximum you can because your final score helps you in getting admission.
