Competition
hello aspirant,
the question you asked in considerably varying yearly because the competition keep increasing year by year and the difficulty level of JEE mains changes each year and category is also a major key factor in JEE. so i suggest with about 280+ marks you can achieve rank under 10000.
Happy learning.
Cut offs depend on various factors such as total no .of seats available, difficulty of the exam, previous year cut offs, no.of Candidates appearing for the exam and no.of Candidates applying for a course. While we cannot predict the competition that might be see a rise but we would like to bring forth few factors that might result in higher cut offs. JEE Mains was ideally scheduled for April but has been pushed back almost by 5 months. Which means even if half the Candidates utilised this time, the cut offs are going to go higher due to increase in competition. And the other factor is that due to the spread of the Pandemic, man Candidates would prefer selecting Colleges nearer to their homes. This means the cut offs are bound to increase for almost every College as the no.of availability of seats remain the same but the Candidates vouching for those seats increase. Considering all this, cut offs are bound to increase. And so we might see a rise of 15 marks atleast in ever subject.
Your expected rank would be between 5090 and 6740 and the percentile score would be between 99.23 and 99.43.
The rank predicted here is in the general category
This is predicted using careers360 rank predictor and you can also use the same by visiting the link given below

NSUT is one of the best engineering college of India . Every students wishes to get admission in this college but here approx 75% seats are reserved for Delhi candidate which rises the cut off for the outsider students. Here is cut off the NSUT of 4 round general candidate.
If you belongs from Delhi then you must have to score 97.5 percentile to get admission in decent branch and if you are not belongs from Delhi then you have to secure more than 98.5 percentile .
GOOD LUCK !
Hi Dear,
JEE Main is one of the most important entrance exams for candidates who wish to do engineering. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The authorities use the normalization process to equalise the difficulty level of the exam.
To calculate a percentile, the authorities compile the raw marks of the students and normalize the same. Therefore, it is not possible to tell exactly how much marks one should score to get 99 percentile in the exam. But as per previous year’s analysis, one should score more than 178 marks to increase the chances of securing 99 percentile. To know more about the normalization process, read the JEE Main Marks Vs Percentile article.
Study hard!!
I hope you got the answer!!

Hi...
As we know that the students get two oppurtunities to appear for their JEEmains from this year and the best score out of those two chances is considered ,which is a great oppurtunity for students.
the first attempt has already being conducted and the second attempt will probably be held in september month if everything goes well.
You need to score between 175-176 to get a rank under 10000.Due to the whole lockdown thing students got a lot of time to prepare thoroughly and the competetion will be high . Hope you prepared well.
ALL THE BEST.

Hey!
150 marks are considered as good marks in jee mains as toughness of paper matters a lot. With 150 marks and previous years analysis you might have percentile 90+ which may help you to get admission in NITs. Also, you rank would be less than 20,000 which is enough to get admission in reputed colleges.
Thank you
