what is the difference between perfect competition & pure competition

AVINASH KUMAR 15th Dec, 2021

Dear aspirant. Hope you are doing well. There are types of competition in market.

  • Monopoly competition - A monopoly is a dominant position of an industry or a sector by one company, to the point of excluding all other viable competitors. Monopolies are often discouraged in free-market nations. They are seen as leading to price-gouging and deteriorating quality due to the lack of alternative choices for consumers.

  • Oligopoly competition - An oligopoly is a market characterized by a small number of firms who realize they are interdependent in their pricing and output policies. The number of firms is small enough to give each firm some market power. Context: ... When all firms are of (roughly) equal size, the oligopoly is said to be symmetric.

  • Perfect competition - In economic theory, perfect competition occurs when all companies sell identical products, market share does not influence price, companies are able to enter or exit without barrier, buyers have perfect or full information, and companies cannot determine prices.

Hope it's helpful for you

Thank you

which field of science doesnt have much competition?

Ayush Maurya 17th Dec, 2021

Hello there

I hope you are doing good in your life see as you asked about the less competition field in science so I want to tell you that the thing is more competitive or competitive what matters is your hard work and dedication towards that competition.

Now coming to your question yes science stream it's  very competitive because you can see your fellow mates classmate will be doing preparation for various competitions and most probably 7 out of 10 will be doing JEE Or Neet preparation. So these two fields can be said have more competition than others not only these two in some more fields there have competition these days so you can not say clear-cut answer that which have more competition which have less competition but if I say generally beside these two there will have less competition anyway.

Hope it helps you!

Thank you!

which session of JEE main 2022 as low competition and it is best to write a exam on that session to get safe percentile easily?.what is the safe score in JEE main for OBC category and also general category.what are the things necessary to take to the examination hall.how was the JEE main exam hall.

kumari.ranu525 26th Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,

According to previous years, students who put in all their efforts in the first attempt have a chance to score a better percentile as competition is less and a good percentile is achieved even at a low score. So if you take my opinion put in all your efforts in the first attempt.

Now coming to safe score, for OBC candidates 96 percentile+ can fetch you a good college with a decent branch and for general candidates 98+ can fetch them good colleges.

On the examination day you have to carry a transparent pen, water bottle, hand sanitizer, a copy of your admit card, your passport size photo and an identity proof. Be calm and patient on the D-day.

All the best!!
