Hello,

No, you are not eligible as the eligibility criteria says that a candidate must have passed 3 year bachelor's degree in B.Sc/B.Sc(hons)/BCA/BIT with mathematics/statistics or bachelor's in engineering from a recognised board or university.

As you have not fulfilled the education qualification requirement you are not eligible to appear.

Can I write underscore before class name?

Raj Aryan Sharma 9th Feb, 2020

Hi Albert.

Well, yes you can indeed name a Class such that it starts with an underscore. Putting an underscore in the starting of the class name is not a problem. I wrote a code in DevC++ with a class name '_hi' and it worked. I am guessing it isn't compiler specific and will work anywhere.

To study abroad for PG,which course will be better to take up in UG - Bachelor in Computer Application or B.Sc. in Computer Science? Which one is better if Im planning to continue studying abroad after finishing Bachelors in India?

Hrisheekesh Singh 13th Mar, 2020

Hi Hirat,

If you are planning to study abroad after your bachelor's degree than according to me you should prefer Bachelor of Computer Applicants(BCA) over B.Sc. in Computer Science because BCA students have the opportunity to do MCA and after MCA the way to job opens as MCA is considered as a bigger degree.

Now, in other countries MCA has a greater scope also.

You may refer to this link for more information about BCA MCA colleges in India.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!

Is it true that in India it is better to opt for B.Sc in Computer Science than B. Computer Application? What if one still opts for the latter ,planning to continue abroad for Masters?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 13th Mar, 2020

hi,

see from job opportunities point of view bachelor in computer application is better than bsc in computer science since in bsc courses the practical exposure of studies is less than bca, however some of companies like mncs does not hire on;ly bca students, you need to also complete mca to get job as a software engineer. however bca and bsc both of the courses has further study option in abroad.
