By analyzing the previous year cutoff's and being a KIIT student I can say that you can get CSE in KIIT. As the cutoff for CSE goes upto 4-5k rank. So you can apply to the counselling process and hope for the best.

I am also doing btech with AIML branch. My opinion is Aiml is better than cse. Because machine learning scope will increases in future. So job point of view chances will increases. And get better job in future. And you will learn lot of things in aiml. Like robotic. etc.
