There are other branches which you might crack. They are:-

(2) Production and industrial Engg. in

According to last 2-3 years trend VIT vellor Cutoff in CS is Revolving arond 7500..You are closer To That rank.so there might be 90% chance That You will get through it..But that Is too risky way to consider One field only..I suggest you if By chance you may not

the previous year cutoff for CSE branch at Institute of engineering and technology was:- 29 which is far more hard to get. With your rank it will be difficult to get IET in any branch as the closing rank is below 1k.
