Your rank is quite good for getting admission in DTU but possibility of getting computer science branch is less.last year cut off for cs branch is around 9400, so you can wait for the spot round if you are lucky enough then sure you can get cs .

As per as my friend who is the first year undergraduate at UPES computer science department, the computer science engineering at UPES is more industry oriented and if a student works hard there,the university promises a good career.Even the placement records are good according to the past years.

I think for pursuing Computer Science Engineering , IIT Bombay and IIT Madras will be good option. As they have good academics as well a decent placement. For getting admission there , you will have to clear JEE ADVANCED Examination with a decent rank.

Yes, with a rank below 20k you can definitely get CSE at LNMIIT. Last year cutoff for CS branch was around between 30-35k.
