Is it better to opt electrical engineering over computer science engineering

Hello tarun,
It is not good to take electrical engineering over cse since ,the streams are very different .
Computer science is the stream where you can learn about network security, cloud computing and programming courses .
Whereas,electrical engineering deals with power electronics ,instrumentation engineering ,control systems .

Yeah you have good career options if you take cat exam after completing computer science in btech,
But ,its better to do masters in computer science so that you have a grip in the subject .

these categories are subdivide into rural merit etc so cutoff may vary

First of all you have to fill an online form for which the registration link is generated by the university in the 1st or 2nd week of may.Filling of online form is compulsory as there is no offline procedure for admission.You will also be required to fill your class 12

This years cut off is not been given so prediction is very difficulty pleaSe go though previous year cut off marks and rankings you may get an idea wether you may get a seat kr not or you can give another attempt and try getting some more marks.

Yes definitely you can go for CSE in 2nd year only if your college have this rule of changing branch according to marks in 1st year and vacancy of seats in that particular branch.
