You need to understand that this year cutoff will touch sky due unexpected marks students got in their 12th boards exam. Usually 92-94% is enough to get any science branch in any campus of DU but this year definitely it will jump around 95-97% especially for science streams.

Yes of course you can do engineering after completing B.Sc. There are lateral entry exams which are conducted by AICTE approved colleges. You have to take entry through these entrance tests.

With reference to your query, I would like to tell you that if you have physics in your btech course circullum for atleast one year with 60percentage aggregate then you are eligible to give msc entrances for physics otherwise it is not possible

Admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs is done through JOSAA counselling. Admission to IITs is based on merit in JEE Advanced and for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs is based on merit in JEE Main. The cut off each institute is different and cut off is branch specific. To have decent chances of getting
SC/ST students have full fee waiver at IIT's. But they have to pay the mess and hostel rent. But for some even that is waivered.
On an ave the total fee for 4 yrs comes out as 1.5-2.5 lac, changes according to colleges.
