Why is the cutoff for thapar university so high this year? Something that required 76 percentile till last year now requires at least 98 percentile. I got 95.6 Percentile, do I have a chance in getting a cs related stream? I am of general category and from Delhi.

Looking at your percentile I think there is a difficult chance for you can get a chance for admission in good colleges for BMS. Delhi University gives a weightage of 65 and 35 to the DU JAT Exam and the Class 12th boards.

i have got CSE in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri in first counseling under slab 4. Now what does this slab 4 mean ? How much fee should i required to pay including hostel fee?

Hello,

Slab 4 in Amrita Vishwavidyalaya  means you need to pay regular fees of Rs 2,80,000 .

In slabs 1,2,3 you get a scholarship fees .

In slab 4 the fees would range higher  than other slabs .

Along with hostel ,the fees would range around 3.5lakhs

You have pretty good chances to get CS in NITs  like Hamirpur, Durgapur, Raipur, Jamshedpur etc. (Except top 8 NITs, you could possibly get CSE in every other NIT).
