Prachi Kumari 14th Mar, 2025

Hello,

No, your COMEDK application form will not get rejected for this small mistake. Since the spelling is correct and only a space is missing, it should not be a major issue.

However, to be sure, you can contact COMEDK authorities and confirm if any correction is needed.

Hope it helps !

Which is best colleges for BTecg in Computers, already applied to bits, VIT, Manipal and. Comedk want to apply one more apart from Wbjee

kumardurgesh1802 12th Mar, 2025

Hello student,

Since you've already applied to top private colleges like BITS, VIT, Manipal, and COMEDK, you can consider applying to:

  • IIIT Hyderabad – Known for its strong computer science program and research opportunities.

  • Shiv Nadar University – Offers a solid CS program with good placements and industry exposure.

  • Ashoka University – Strong CS curriculum with an interdisciplinary approach.

  • UPES Dehradun – Good for CSE with specializations in AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.

  • Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham – Consistently ranked well for CS and known for good placements.

These colleges have a good academic reputation and offer strong placement support.

My son got 95.2% perceile in JEE mains first attempt ,wants CS have applied in manipal, vellore, ComedK, and BiTs. in Bits he is ok with electronic and communication in Goa also. Do I need to apply more colleges ,we dont want SRM. Between Symbiosis and Kalinga which is better (Wont give jee advance)

kumardurgesh1802 12th Mar, 2025

Hello there,

Your son has a strong 95.2% percentile in JEE Mains, which gives him a good chance for CS in decent colleges through COMEDK and Manipal. Here's a clear plan:

  1. Current Applications:

    • Manipal: Good chance for CS at Manipal or Jaipur campus.
    • VIT Vellore: High chance of getting CS in the second or third category.
    • COMEDK: Likely to secure CS in top colleges like RV, BMS, or MSRIT with that percentile.

    • BITS: If he's comfortable with ECE in Goa, that's a strong backup option since BITS has good placement in both CS and ECE.

  2. Additional Applications: No need to apply to more private universities unless you want extra backup.

  3. Symbiosis vs Kalinga:

    • Symbiosis: Better for management and business fields, not as strong in engineering.

    • Kalinga (KIIT): Better for engineering with strong infrastructure and placement in CS and IT fields.

Recommendation: KIIT is a better choice for engineering.

Overall, the current options (Manipal, VIT, COMEDK, BITS) are sufficient for CS. KIIT could be a backup, but Symbiosis is less suitable for CS.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 10th Mar, 2025

For COMEDK UGET 2025 registration, a valid photo ID proof is required, such as a PAN card, passport, voter ID, driving license, or Aadhaar card. A minor PAN card without a photograph may not be accepted since the ID must include a photo for verification. It is recommended to use an alternative government-issued photo ID. Additionally, applicants must upload their photograph, signature, and their parent's or guardian's signature. For detailed requirements, refer to the COMEDK UGET 2025 Information Brochure on the official website.

can i fill my comedk account form another time with the same aadhaar, because i realized ive made a spelling mistake in my own name...

Kenma Kozume 18th Feb, 2025

hi ,

No, you cannot create a new COMEDK account with the same Aadhaar number once it has already been registered. However, you can try the following solutions:

Solution 1: Correction via COMEDK Helpdesk

  • COMEDK allows limited corrections during the application correction window (if provided).
  • Contact COMEDK Helpdesk via email or phone and request a name correction.
  • Visit the official website: www.comedk.org (https://www.comedk.org/) for contact details.

Solution 2: Try Registering with an Alternative ID

  • If COMEDK does not allow edits and you haven’t completed the full application yet, try registering with a different mobile number and email ID and use another ID proof (like Passport, PAN, or a school ID).

Solution 3: Edit During Correction Window

  • If COMEDK opens a correction window, log in to your account and edit the name if allowed.

hope this helps
