Well you  need an OBC NCL certificate, because when I checked state wise merit lists of previous 2 years (Telangana) I observed caste section of OC/BCA/BCB/BCC/BCD/BCE/SC/ST, everyone used one option among these. Nowhere have I seen someone mentioning caste as OBC ,so I guess it is not accepted
