I got seat at Gujarat...DAIICT..in ICT..I want to know wheather is it wise to take in branch other than CS ...in NIT, IIIT at Gujarat or at other states....my OBC-NCL catogary rank for JEEMAIN is 5145.what to do ... advice me properly.

Dear Aspirant,it totally depends on your decision but if you need advice I can help you out. NIT and IIIT are renowned colleges and it is better to get a course over there but if you want to go for just CSE or IT then go for the DAIICT seat.

Hi, based on your rank I can only say that on this rank you can surely get into top NIT, somehow but the problem is that you may not get CSE branch in top NIT but I'm preety much sure that you can get CSE branch In normal rank NIT's.

The cutoff marks depend on factors like category, number of student applied, ,difficulty level of exam ,seats available etc.

So the cutoff marks required for admission varies every year.

However from previous years citoff marks/ranks you can have the idea about the chances of your admission in current year.
