CSAB
Hi Amit,
It is okay if you do not want to opt for the college you were allotted in 2nd round of csab counselling.
See, if there is an option mentioned regarding the refund of the fees then you can go with that. Also, you can check official letters by the administration regarding the procedure and the no. Of round in which you can get the refund. Usually during the refunding process a little percentage of money is deducted after every round you participate in.
Hope this information helps you.
Thank you and good luck:)
Hello aspirant
No there is not going to be any further special rounds of counseling after CSAB. The entire seats of NITS and GFTIS will be filled through this. No seat will be kept vacant after tomorrow's round and you will get the beat possible seat according to your filled choices.
Hope this clears your doubt.
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have freezed your seat in csab round 1 and but didnt upload your documents so you would get your refund after deducting an amount of 1.5k.
It will take around 3-4 days after the counselling has been conducted. If you have withdrawn after 2nd round then 5k would have deducted instead of 1.5k.
Hi
In CSAB counselling, your CRL is considered and not category rank.
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>>> With Crl rank around a little above 1 lakh
You have chances in some of the GFTIs which are listed below along with the link for their previous year cut off :-
------) Assam University, Silchar ( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/assam-university-silchar/cut-off
------) Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal ( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/sant-longowal-institute-of-engineering-and-technology-longowal/cut-off
------) Tezpur University, Tezpur( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/tezpur-university-tezpur/cut-off
-------) Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/guru-ghasidas-vishwavidyalaya-bilaspur/cut-off
And a few more
This prediction of colleges is based of past year data but cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main for different shifts etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

Hi aspirant,
You did not to worry as the seat you got in first round will be retained. According to the current guidelines, when a candidate is allotted a seat and if he/ she selects float that means he or she has accepted the seat but wants to proceed further in the process to get an upgrade on basis of filled choices.
After second round you will be provisionally allocated a seat and can pay the partial tution fee according to the guidelines of the college.
Hope it helps!!
As you have got a seat in csab round so the refund won't be possible if you claim your refund after declaration of 2nd round. So, if you don't accept the seat after 2nd round you won't be refunded.
If you are not alloted a seat then in that case you will be refunded after deducting an amount of 6000. And if you withdraw your seat in first round then your amount will be refunded after deducting 1500.

Hello candidate,
If you are surrendering your seat obtained in round 1 and participating in round 2 then you need not to pay the seat acceptance fees. Hope this helps you.
Thankyou!
Yes you have to pay the seat acceptance fees if you are getting a seat for the first time in the csab councelling. If your have got no seat in jossa then its ok but if you have got any seat in the jossa counselling and you have already paid the seat acceptance fees there then no need to pay again. You can find more details here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab .
Hi,
The participation fee can be paid using Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card or State Bank of India e-challan. ii. The candidates who had already paid the seat acceptance fee during the JoSAA-2020 Rounds but their seat was withdrawn/cancelled after Document verification are required to pay only Rs.
Candidates who have registered for JoSAA will have to register again for CSAB counselling.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
