If you are aspiring top of the NITs your Rank must be less than 15000 if you belong to unreserved category. To get top IIITs also like IIIT Hyderabad , IIITDelhi, IIIT Bangalore, IIITAllahabad you need to score minimum 98 percentile. That means minimum 12k to 15k rank
