So yes, these two are separate from each other and you can sit in OJEE counselling even after giving JEE Main. Sorry to say but 80 marks is not good enough to crack the paper of jee advance for sc/st/obc category students and if she belong to general then don't even think about it. All you can do is get her motivated and prepare for the next year or take admission in other state government colleges.

Yes, you can change your branch after first seat allotment in two ways.

1. You can participate in second phase counselling and select the institutes offering CSD or CSC course. You may accept the seat allotted in first phase counselling and participate in second phase counselling. If you are allotted a seat in second phase counselling then the first seat allotment stands cancelled. If you do not get admission in second phase counselling then the first seat allotment will be retained. If you do not accept the seat in first phase counselling and if you do not get seat in second phase counselling as well then you wouldn't have any seat in your hand.

2. You can apply for internal sliding in the institute. You have to accept the seat in first phase counselling and join. You need to get in touch with the college admission officer and request for internal sliding in the preferred course. If there are any vacant seats in the preferred branch you can change the course. If you do so you cannot avail for fee reimbursement if you are eligible for it.

But , you need to remember this also that each year the cut off can change due to the following factors :
