CSC
hi,
see to become eligible for admission to b.tech course in Computer science or any others stream of engineering, you must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics as a mandatory subject. qualifying marks criteria may differ college to college.
since you have interest in computer science I recommend to take admission in BCA course , then you should go for MCA course after completing bca. the work opportunity and technology is similar with CSE and you would get the opportunity to work in computer science domain.
Hey aspirant,
I wouldn't be able to suggest you with which branch you should go for. As,this is a really important decision amongst the students. You should only go with that branch in which you feel you are more comfortable and interested. It's but obvious that you wouldn't want to waste your 4 years of life in studying something in which you are not at all interested.
Now, coming time placement statistics of both the colleges i.e, Andhra university and GVP. So, seeing previous year Placement records of ANDHRA UNIVERSITY the highest package offered till date is 7lpa and the average ranges around 2.5-3.5lpa whereas in GVP the highest package offered till date is 14lpa and the average ranges around 3-5lpa.
So, on the basis of the placement records I would suggest you to go for GVP.
REST ALL DEPENDS UPON YOU!
Hope it helps!
Good luck.

Hello Aspirant,
See there is no any minimum percentile required to be eligible for admission in NITs for any category because the seat allotment process is based on the rank of candidate but if you are General candidate and wants to get CSE into top 10 NITs then you should at least try for 99.2+ percentile in JEE-Main 2021 for top NITs and for average NITs 98+ percentile will also be the decent score . See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts. However basis on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

Hello.
There are many aspects to consider while you are choosing a branch. Every branch has its own importance and it depends on you and what branch you want to choose. There are jobs for every branch and you should focus on your area of interest. A few popular branches are:
1. Computer Science Engineering: It is one of the most preferred branch. After the rise of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc., the scope for computer science engineers is extensive.
2. Mechanical Engineering: This is also one of the top branches preferred by students. The scope is high and you get a lot of opportunities to work in various fields.
3. Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Considered to be one of the toughest branch, it is a conventional branch of engineering and offers good career opportunities.
Currently, Robotics is also a field that is growing rapidly.

I believe you should prefer Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay . Engineering Physics is basically a Engineering Research branch and deals with Physics in Engineering and Application. As far as IIT Bombay is concerned, you shouldnt have any issue regarding Location, Faculty, Infrastructure and Research Facilities. As far as Placements are concerned opportunities in Core Physics sector seem bleak with many students joining Samsung Semiconductor, TSMC, LAM Research and some other companies like Applied Materials and Intel. But many students opt for pursuing Masters or Doctoral Degree post Undergraduate from Faculties of Physics in top US Universities like Princeton, UC Berkeley and Stanford. Besides this IIT Bombay has excellent placements as far as non core sector is concerned and you can always find high paying opportunities in Software/IT/Finance/Consultancy, etc. Perhaps I believe at this Rank you might find other Core or Circuital in many other Top IITs and can also consider them.
Below I have given the placement details for both the colleges:
IIT BOMBAY, PHYSICS DEPARTMENT
YEAR
PLACED
2016-2017
15
2017-2018
2018-2019
10
NIT NAGPUR, CSE
84
2019-2020
103
Hope this helps you
All the best for your future
hello aspirant,
88 percentile could fetch you a rank around 115650-130000 and sc category rank around 8000-9000 .now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have fair chances to fetch seat in government colleges like nits, iiits.you have chances to get into nit agartala-biotechnology based on last year round 6 cutoff closing ranks.note that each cutoff changes and if it changes so are your chances into colleges.you can surely take the advantage of homestate for nit.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
hope this helps,
thankyou.
Hello Dear,
Yes, every university and college provides the option of “branch change”, after passing first year, so that if any doubt still prevails in the mind of a student after taking admission in first year, he/she can then change his/her respective branch in second year. But, there are certain criterion which you have to be fulfilled.
1- Your CGPA must be at-least 8.5 or above in 10 scale. (This is most vital but it varies from university to university)
2- You must have no backlogs in your 1st year.
Good Luck
