The B.Tech. course in any engineering discipline is a 4-year course, and its offers only the degree of the Bachelor of Technology. For further professional growth, a b.tech holder may require to pursue the M. Tech. in any specialization area of the same discipline. The m.tech course takes two years. As you have already ranked 3900 so i think you have already gone through streams and based on that you are placed a rank. You can try for the civil engineering,mechanical engineering,aerospace engineering,electrical and electronics engineering,mechatronics. Because for the rank 3900 CSE and IT department are very hard to get at the time of counselling session but if want you can try through the payment method.

As per the given AIR, there is good enough chance to get an admission into NIT campus. As of now 2nd session of current year  is yet to be conducted which will change many factor and also the expected rank. So it would be better to wait until NTA releases the rank list and results.

Top ranked NIT accepts rank below 10k-20k for CSE. For low ranked NIT, they accept upto 2lakhs for CSE branch for general category.

NIT Warangal is one of the top NIT college and so the cutoff is high. For OBC category the all india category rank of seventh round counselling was 660 for other state quota and 1116 for home state quota.

Undoubtedly, SASTRA is renowned for its computing branches ( CSE ,IT,ICT) in terms of placements and salary packages.Especially in Sastra every branch has got good rating in all aspects.

Placements in sastra will held in 7 sem for btech students. Most of the final year students will attend placements and placed well. Mostly 85- 95 % students are placed. In 8 sem students are allowed to do 4 - 6 months internship in placed companies are their own selected Companies.

Based on you interest you can take admission in any of the branch.But from my point of view and seeing college review and placement cell i will suggest you for computer science branch.
