As per the official website of the college, there are only 400 seats in the boys hostel, so I'd say that your getting a hostel would depend upon your merit scores, and it can't be guaranteed that you'd definitely get one. If you need any more help then

Admissions are done on the basis of rank cut off marks are decided on factors like difficulty level of exam, total number of candidates appeared for exam and previous year's cut off.

For CSJM University kanpur expected qualifying cut off are

25% for general category

25% for OBC
