Data analyst is one of the job profile in which one has to work on data and fetch and update. You can't get a job as a Data analyst with B arch course. You need to have Btech/MCA degree. But Btech students will have more opportunities compared to MCA. So Btech degree is preferred.

No, they are different. Data Entry Operators are usually enter data into different computer databases, manage and maintain effective record keeping. In addition, they may organize files, collect and manage data to be entered into the computer. A data analyst collects, processes and performs statistical analyses of data.       Generally, to become a data analyst after Bsc, you should earn a Bachelors degree in either statistics, math, computer science or any other related subjects. You need to have some extra skills as well to get into good employment. there is a bit less demand of data analyst in punjab as compared to delhi , bangalore etc .however you can surely get one.there are many private corporates in punjab which offers jobs for data analyst .try searching in the online job portals like naukri .com or indeed .indeed is quite good . or you can search for internships from internshala or other apps from which you can increase your chance to get jobs

if you are a data analyst and want to become a business analyst, then simultaneously study courses from coursera, edx about business analytics.

study financial models also. this knowledge will surely help to take up business related jobs which is more interesting and fun than big data jobs.
