Data science specialization should have 2-3 additional subjects from B.E/B.Tech Computer Science Engineering which will not defer from core B.E/B.Tech CSE in anyways. As it's CSE with data science, rather than just data science, it'll mostly cover important subjects.
Your decision to pursue data science won't make you regret it, since it will be a good addition to your resume.
