regular cse vs data science vs cloud computing

SREYASHI SEN 16th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant..

These days, pursuing a B.Tech in CSE is a highly good professional choice. Every day, several technologies are used. The contemporary period is one in which technology is utilized in all aspects of life.

AI and machine learning are now widely used. Machine Learning is a type of technology in which academics are attempting to create something new. Researchers like Andrew Ng, who specializes in machine learning, are working on building machines that can perform tasks as well as humans. Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, and a slew of other companies use machine learning. Artificial intelligence, usually known as AI, is the most exciting topic of computer science. It's also fascinating in terms of machine learning, because every developer wishes to construct an AI like Jarvis.

It is critical to pursue CSE with a passion. If you majored in cse with a specialization, you'll be limited to that field. Furthermore, when you apply for jobs at different organizations, you are solely considered for positions in your industry. If you study cse without a specialization, on the other hand, you will do a lot of coding, which will be very valuable to you. To choose candidates, every organization now undergoes a round of coding. Coding is also very important in AI, ML, and data science because it is used everywhere. You can work in any field if you know how to code.

I hope this information helps.

Regards.

which course in cse is easy cloud computing or data science or regular cse

Shalini Parimal 21st Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

I assume you are asking whether the two specialization of CSE i.e., Cloud Computing and Data Science is easier than regular CSE course. All these three courses are amazing on it's own and it all depends on you which course you have more interest in . Cloud computing is something where works are like using network servers to store, manage and control data. While in data science there is usage of Big data and there is a cleaning, preparing and analyzing of the data is involved. While in regular CSE there too you will be studying these subjects but not in-depth studies will be done. In specialization course of cloud computing and Data Science, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the subjects related to these course only. While in regular CSE, you will be having more and more overview on various number of subjects. So, there is nothing as such that this particular course is easy and other one is tough, it is all on how you perform and how much interest in that course.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!!

after opting for btech CSE which streams should I do my honours in? (AL & ML, Data Science, Computing, Security and privacy etc). Which honours have the most scope(In terms of placements and CTC), and which one of these are in high demand and pay well?(Desc. Order)

Abhishek Roy 15th Aug, 2021

You may specialize in either of AI/ML or Data Science. Both have excellent career prospects amd relevance to the current Job Scenario. However jit as an advice, incase you plan on pursuing a MBA in near future, you may prefer Data Science over AI/ML, as it'll help you more, secondly Data Scientist is an excellent and well paying job today as far as freshers are concerned.

BCA Data Science Amrita Mysore vs BCA in Jain university which best

Nishant Joshi 22nd Sep, 2021

Hi, so basically BCA Data Science provided by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is quite advance and job oriented. Though the BCA course provided by Jain University is quite good too, with quite good range of subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Internet of things, etc.

The only difference in courses provided by these two universities is that Amrita University's Data Science program merely focuses on Data Science  although it have other advanced subjects as provided by Jain University too.

So if you are anywhere interested in Data Science you should definitely go for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, since they provide the curriculum for Data Science in an elaborative way. And if you want to learn data science for the sake of knowledge and not want to build your carrier around it then you should go for the Jain University.

Hope this is helpful.

I am Doctor of Pharmacy graduate(6 years course),I want to become data scientist in health care, pharma companies. So should I go for masters in health data science or can I opt a 6 months Data science course from a good institute?

medsra159 12th Aug, 2021

Dear leaner,

Actually,I could have able to answer this , because iam one of the pharm-d graduates ,see if you are interested in switching career from pharmacy to data science, risky part is more than benifits ,let's take that as  positive . p

After pharm-d taking up in data science is brilliant idea ,you could have impactable knowledge in both field, but the issue is you need have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, statistics, if you wants to take msc in data science,

but anyone is eligible for the data science in doing so diploma in data science ,it takes you too far more ,

first stick to basics , understand stats, maths ,computer and machine learning, and the first foremost thing is learning computer language.if you are good and willing you can take anyhow .

that,s The only drawback in data science learning languages ,that could be fun if you learn with passion.

all the best

  • If you are willing to go abroad for higher studies then you must clear the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) to get admission in a graduate program abroad.

There are a number of job opportunities available for a B.Sc. Physics graduate. Here are some of the top job profiles:

  • Physicist
  • Physics Lecturer
  • Lab Assistant
  • Research Associate
  • Subject Matter Expert
  • Technician
  • Radiologist Assistant
  • Academic Counselor
  • Content Developer
  • Quality Control Manager
  • Scientist
  • Radiation Oncologist

Job opportunities as a scientist are available in organizations like BARC, ISRO, DRDO, VSSC, SSPL and other many well-established research centres in India as well as abroad.

Data Science is a new field and has been gaining so much demand and popularity since the pandemic. Day to day evolution of technology and the collection of huge amounts of data has led to the increasing demand of data scientists around the globe. The importance of gathering and collecting data is crucial as it enables organizations to determine and thus influence the trends in a particular industry. The opportunities in India and abroad for this field is endless.

Data Science jobs for freshers may include the job of a business analyst, data scientist, statistician or data architect.

Big Data Engineer: Big data engineers develop, maintain, test, and evaluate big data solutions within organizations.

Machine Learning Engineer: Machine learning engineers have to design and implement machine learning applications/algorithms to address business challenges.

Data Engineer/Data Architect: Data engineers/architects develop, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.

Data Scientist: Data scientists have to understand the challenges of business and offer the best solutions using data analysis and data processing.

Statistician: Statistician interprets the results, along with strategic recommendations or incisive predictions, using data visualization tools or reports.

Data Analysts: Data analysts are involved in data manipulations and data visualization.

Business Analysts: Business analysts use predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analyses to transform complex data into easily understood actionable insights for the users.

In conclusion the future of physics and data science is very bright. Every field has its pros and cons but it is up to you, decide what is of your interest and what you can do.

All the best!
