Suppose a company selling chocolates wants to increase their sales then the Data science engineer will analyse the records of past sales, market trends etc and produce plans/ strategies to optimise the sale. Artificial intelligence is basically an array of courses which are related to computation like design and analysis of algorithms, computer programming languages, software design, and computer hardware. It has higher demands among the companies dealing with technologies such as automation, robotics and machineries.Both the courses that you have mentioned have their own cons and bring bright opportunities. You should at first decide your field of interest before taking any decision as you are going to stick with that domain for the remaining part of your life.
Placement offers are equal for both the programs and it is almost sure that the scopes will only expand in future.

I will start with Data Science first. So basically Data science is an interdisciplinary field about scientific methods, processes and systems to extract knowledge from data.
Whereas AI is something that enables machines to mimic human intelligence using logics, ML, DL,etc.
And ML is the study of computer algorithms that improve automatically through experience and by the use of data.
So basically we can say that machine learning is the link that connects Data Science and AI because AI is the tool that helps data science get results and solutions for specific problems and ML is what helps in achieving that goal.
Now talking about jobs in all of these specific field of study, since all of these are going to be the future of human life so jobs are everywhere in huge demand in all of these fields ISRO specifically(since you mentioned). There are various projects that has already been done using AI , ML and Data Science. Like ISRO launched Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft which had AI tools and frameworks, uses solar energy for its functioning and can communicate only with the Lander. ISRO first developed Target identification using machine learning algorithms from MOTR radar data.

Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in the following courses

This year the cut off changes slightly depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. So by the prediction you have chances of getting seat in one of preferred branches in round 1, you may participate in round 1 of counselling. You may also participate in subsequent rounds as the cut off will increase in the subsequent round. But as said the cut off may increase or decrease depending on the factors mentioned above.

Nope! Intermediate Statistics will not be sufficient enough for Data Science. A good level of knowledge in Discrete Mathematics and Mathematics in general is important for a Data Scientist along with a UG Statistics atleast. Although in todays world, BTech CSE and MSc Statistics plays an important role in most of the data science agencies. Thus if you want to go for Data Science and study it from your UG then you can go for BTech CSE with specialization in Data Science, BSc Data Science from IIT MADRAS (online degree program), BSc Statistics (Hons), BSc(Hons.) Mathematics with Computer Science and Statistic as Generic Elective. This can really shape your career if you can pursue MSc Statistics, MStat from ISI, MSc Data Science, MSc Mathematical Statistics etc after your BSc. You can work as an Data Scientist with a very good pay and a bright future ahead.

As you are interested in engineering in AI and CYBERSECURITY Computer Science fields. You have mentioned all the branches and specializations for the Computer science field. See, there is no issue if you either opt for specialization or CSE branch.
What matters is the hard work you put in the important subjects and gained knowledge on technology. The most important part of the CSE branch, you need to be good enough in DSA, OOPS, DBMS, WEB DEVELOPMENT, ANDROID DEVELOPMENT or ML and AI. You can take admission in any branch and specialization. The difference is when you opt for specialization the major portion will be from the specialization subjects. The Traditional CSE branch has many more options in future.
After pursuing graduation, a candidate can opt for jobs in software-related or IT firms with SDE roles, Analyst, Tester and many more. The package depends upon the job role and company. Mnc provides more packages as compared to service-based ones. So, for getting into MNC you need to focus on the above-mentioned subjects and development courses.
If you keen and interested in specialisation then do not wait. Else, CSE is forever branch.
