Going by the performance, Dayanand Sagar academy would be a better choice than Dayanand Sagar university. Dayanand Sagar University has only two branches of engineering(ECE and Mechanical) whereas Dayanand Sagar academy has about 5 courses of engineering which suggests that it is more firmly recognized and established. You might want to go to DSATM.

DSU is better 

It was better faculty and much experienced staff and established well before DSATM.

Even the placements are better for dsu .

Dayanda sagar academy of technology and management is not a part of dayanand sagar college of engineering .

Dayanand sagar college of engineering is an autonomous college under vtu while dayanand  sagar academy of technical education and management is a new college in dayananda sagar group of institutions started in 2012. It is named campus 2 in dayanda sagar group of institutions. This is also affiliated to VTU .

And both these colleges come under dayanand sagar group of institutions

As per your rank in ComedK 2019, you cannot get a seat in the CSE or IT branch of Dayanand Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bangalore. But you can get a seat in the Civil engineering branch in the respective institute.
