Hi ! Yes, there may be any extra fees. First of all, if you are staying in a hostel they will take that fees. They will take your examination fees. Another thing is that, if your college provides any cultural fest or this sort of things then they will demand that money too. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

The ranking of Chandigarh University is higher than that of Dayanand Sagar Academy of Technology and Management but the course fees for Computer Science and Engineering of Dayanand Sagar is lower than CU.

Rest all is same for both colleges. Now you decide which is better for you.

It depends on which branch do want in which college.

Let me give you some idea of fee

Comedk:

During counselling you'll be told that your college fee would be somewhere around 1,35,000₹ to 1,70,000₹.

Now comes the part where each college has it's own fee structure and extra fees like university fee, titution fee, insurance fee, library fee, admission form fee etc.

Then you'll come to know the original college fee you'll be paying is somewhere around 1,70,000₹ to 2,10,000₹.

Now let's talk about Management quota fees

Management quota:

So according to the college and branch just to give you the idea suppose you choose to get Computer science in Dayananda sagar

For that donation would be around 6–12 lac(depends on when you book your seat).

Then per year your college fee would be at least 1 lac more than the comedk students.

Around 2,70,000₹- 3,50,000₹ for 4 years.

Congrats on your COMEDK rank. There isn't any fee concession provided by COMEDK for any college. COMEDK sets an basic fee structure that a college can collect from student but no fee concession is given. Luckily Government of Bangalore provide few fee concession if you belong to Backward Cast and also they consider various other factors. You can also try contacting the DSATM  college regarding the fee concession.

The fees in DSATM for engineering courses is same for almost all courses. You have to pay around 2 lakh rupees for 4 years course whuch is your tution fess. Else the hostel fess and all other extra fess is different.

Dayananda sagar academy of technology and management, employs teachers whom are well qualified but not well experienced, College is really good, especially when it comes to infrastructure, facilities and environment.Placement activity will be taken in combined form.(entire DSI group under one roof) Both main and DSATM campus students will be asked to attend them. (eligilibity criteria will be there) So no need to worry on the placements part. Maintain good aggregate and everything will go smooth.

 DSATM.

Pros:

Reputation : DSATM is the sister branch of DSCE. So even when it lacks on the ranking it still has the DSI tag to it.

Placements : The placements for both DSCE & DSATM are held together at the main campus. So you are entitled to sit for a lot of companies and good decent packages.

Culture : DSI is host to a lot of activities and fests. It always maintains its decree of creativity flow. Home to the finest crowd of Bengaluru.

Lenience : The attendance is said to be maintained at 85% but can be managed up to 60% too.

Infrastructure : Spread over a humongous piece of land it is enabled with fully furnished classrooms, libraries, etc.

SJBIT too is an excellent college but lacks a few points on placements and is too strict on its attendance.
