RNS Institute of Technology is under VTU while Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering recently went autonomous. With both colleges at par with respect to placements I would suggest you choose DSCE, since it has ample number of opportunities and also is an old familiar famous institution. SJBIT lacks both

Placements wise, I would recommend the following:
DSATM, CMRIT, and Reva.
I wouldn't recommend Reva as their intake is 3,000+ and difficult to get placed.
