It is not possible to change the college in 2nd yr if you have done 1st year in B.tech,if you were in some diploma course then you can directly in 2nd year.

See jain has a massive campus and you may find variety people from varied courses while in dayanand you have a good academic values and more preferred.

As such the placement is not very good in Chemical as there are very few core companies in Bangalore. Mostly the placements are from the IT companies. If you want a job in chemical itself, you will have to be very talented in your skills.
