yes, you can pursue PhD pharmaceuticals chemistry even anyone can pursue who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.

The candidate who have completed there 12th in science and masters degree is the essential subject in which you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks are eligible for this course. PhD is one of the highest level degree so in some cases you have to do research before applying for that.

CUSAT CAT is not a very tough examination as like Jee mains and bitsat,you just need to be calm and read the questions properly and answer according to that.Going through previous years questions papers and ncert texbokks thoroughly will helps you to score under 1000 rank.Please keep in mind one than than CUSAT CAT is having minimum marks criteria in each of the three subjects so you need to score around 10% of marks in Physics, chemistry and maths respectively to be in the merit list.
