Every year RAC of DRDO recruits Scientists in DRDS mostly at entry level (Scientist 'B'). However, depending on the requirements in specialized areas of research

Yes, you can do internship at DRDO at during Undergraduate level from Metallurgical engineering. But you should be completing your fourth semester. DRDO offers best infrastructured lab with all facilities. If your perfomance is good during the internship there are chance in getting offer in working in DRDO.
