Hi Surya,
The minimum qualification to get into DRDO is B.E/ B.Tech. Every year DRDO recruits students engineering graduates on the basis of their GATE score and then an interview.. So, answer to our question is Yes.
There is an exam Called CEPTAM, that conducts the exam for Administrative Posts and other Technical Posts. I would suggest you to read the article below for more details.

Hello Raghu,
Well if u have minimum qualification of graduation in EEE i.e. B.e. or B.tech. U have to score well in gate exam which is the prerequisite to join drdo..go through the official website of drdo i.e. search for the notification for scientist and apply for the same. If u score good(above 60 for 100) in the gate exam you will have more chances to get call for interview based on the gate score and interview performance you will be selected for scientist post in DRDO.
So all you have to do is plan to get a good score in gate exam and gain good knowledge in all your subjects.
All the best!
Yes you can get admission in Nitte Meenakshi College with your rank but it is difficult, considering that ECE branch is a decently in-demand course, and your rank is pretty decent. You can try through the vacancy rounds which will get you a better chance of getting admission there. And you must also try for other colleges as an option B. All the best!
Dear Sukhdev,
Applications for the post of mechanical engineer in DRDO closes by 30th of June 2019. The eligibility for this post is that the applicant must possess 1st class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg from a recognized university or its equivalent. So being an aerospace engineer, you cannot apply for this post.
Hello Sourav,
Absolutely. B.Tech Manufacturing engineering students definitely have a scope to be able to get into DRDO and ISRO.
You can contact the HR department of your college to provide you with a letter of recommendation and you can send it to them for an internship as well.
Usually DRDO and ISRO will be easier to apply for if you complete your Masters as the competition gets too high in bachelors level.
Hope this helps,
Good luck!
Hi aspirant
