Admission to Under Graduate or Bachelor's Degree is based on 10+2 or it's equivalent education qualification. After passing in Class 12th you will be issued a certificate which is known as long memo or intermediate certificate which consists of marks scored in class 11th as well as class 12th.

Colleges of DU (Delhi University) admit students through merit based on marks in Class 12. So you will need to score good marks in your class 12th examination to pursue BA English course .
