Hello Aspirant,
See to get into Indian Air Force, you need to appear for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and you can be eligible for admission to flying branch on the basis of AFCAT score even with degree of BA but for that you need to clear Section A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% . Because as per the eligibility criteria of AFCAT for flying branch :-
The candidate must have qualified 10+2 with 60% or more in Mathematics and Physics and graduated in any of the mentioned discipline BE/B.Tech./cleared Section A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60%
So if you clear the said exam then you can go for flying branch otherwise with BA degree you are not eligible for AFCAT.

Generally speaking candidates from commerce stream at 10+2 level are preferred in order to pursue BCom, though candidates from other stream can apply depending upon the university norms, hence you need to check out the eligibility criteria for which you're seeking admission, it may vary, the minimum aggregate required is 45% for UR, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories.
admission process may be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, or done through entrance tests, the various types of BCom Degree are BCom Hons. General, professional accounting, computer applications, banking and insurance,
some of the top colleges offering BCom as per NIRF Ranking 2021 are mentioned below-
Also, since you're changing stream, hence you need to evaluate your choices seriously as in why do you want to shift to BCom, what are your future aspirations, is it aligned with the course you'll pursue, hence you need to consider all these factors and then only you should proceed ahead, as long as the university is recognized then the degree will be valid, however you coming from science stream and that too also with BiPC may find it tough to deal with BCom degree, so think about everything in terms of pros and cons, and then take a decision accordingly.
