Broadly, there is not much difference between the two degrees. The only point of difference is Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) is more focused on theoretical study, while Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) is more focused on practical study. There is no major change between the two regarding curriculum,
If you are weak in Mathematics or you want to switch to any other stream then i would suggest you to take up Arts Stream.
You can easily choose any Bachelors stream in Arts department like B.A in Political Science, Geography, Literature, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, etc.
