As per the official website, there are no official information available. I would recommend you to contact the Head of the Department. As the COVID scenario is on there are numerous exceptions those are provided to the candidates regarding the fees and other problems. So I would recommend you to contact your HOD as soon as possible and get it discussed. He/she can guide you out and can really help you to resolve your problem. Don't worry!

can i get iit delhi civil with obc 6000 in jee adv

Anurag Khanna 16th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See the cut-offs keep changing every year and this year also we saw a slight dip in the cut-offs but counselling is yet to be conducted so it would be bit difficult to provide you the exact chances of seat allotment in any particular college on the basis of your JEE-Advance rank but yes if we consider the previous year's data and align it with overall cut-offs of this year then we can help you with expected chances of allotment on such JEE-Advance rank.

So according to the category rank mentioned by you in the question you have no chances of getting IIT Delhi with Civil Branch as per the data analysis of previous years cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing OBC rank for Civil branch in IIT Delhi was 1612 for Male.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous years cut-off data and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

my rank advance 11000male open cata, getting-IIT Patna RoperDhanbadchemicals NITCSRaipurjamesh durga, hamir, patna ECE- jaipur Delhi surat Bhopal kurukhetr IIIT -CS ECE -Delhi Bangalore etc ,my choice CS , which is better IIT-patna. chemicals /NITcs in above

Abhishek Roy 16th Oct, 2021

I would advise you against going after Chemical at Lower IITs, unless youre genuinely interested in that branch. Of course, my advice would be different incase you were into Top 5-7 IITs, but not in this case. Being interested in CSE, your best bet is CSE or ECE at NIT Jamshedpur, Raipur and many other Good Tier 2 NITs or maybe Core branches like Mechanical/Electrical at Top NITs. Most of the NITs nowadays have strong Placements besides having excellent faculty and infrastructure.

can I get NSIT delhi with 77 percentile sc and Im from bihar

ayanmukherjee045 16th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 77 percentile and taking into consideration that you belong to sc category so definitely you will get the benefit but as you are from other state the cut off will be surely very high to get nsut.

So, it's just not possible to crack nsut delhi in this percentile. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

can i get admission in jnu in 82.5 percentile category:general outside delhi

ayanmukherjee045 16th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 82.5 percentile and you are aiming for jnu and taking into consideration that you belong to general category so let me tell you that it's not possible to take admission in this college because you need atleast 97+ percentile to get this college.

Apart from these things it depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
