I a sorry to inform you that your channces of obtaining a seat in a college under Du through DU JAT score is very less. The total number of seats alloted for candidates through DU JAT is less and the level of competition is very high. Therefore the decision is left for you to take, you can either prepare well and appear for DU JAT if you are determined to get an admission through DU  JAT score or you can try your chances in other colleges with your higher secondary marks.

Hi candidate! A rank above 1000 in du jat will give you admission in a decent college for BBE and BMS. As the seats for BBE and BMS has been increased so no need to worry about that. Since you are from the OBC category you will get to avail the benefits with respect to cutoffs for admission in the colleges accepting DU JAT score in Delhi.Based upon the rank that you have scored you chances of admission in BBE and BMS.Hoewever you have better chances of admission for the BMS and comparitively less chances of admission for BBE course.Wait for the cutoffs to be released.The seat intake is less and there is tough competiton among the candidates both from Delhi and outside Delhi.

The DU JAT counselling process usually takes more time than required. The previous year too seat allotment list was declared little late.The first seat allotment result will be arriving anytime soon. The rank list will be announced soon just keep a check on their official website,

I am sorry to inform you that it is difficult to obtain  a seat in EWS category with this ranks. There is less number of seats available for EWS category alloted in colleges under DU for DU JAT. It is better not to depend only on this and start applying for other colleges to have an assured seat in any of the colleges. It is better to have options rather than depending on only one choice in  colleges. Be confident and try for other options also keeping this college also in mind

The seats for EWS in DU JAT are very limited and with very high cutoffs. So, I think it's not possible to get a seat under EWS quota with 657 rank. 

I suggest you to also apply to other colleges also and I hope the best for you.
