as is was mention in dujat paper we can change the prefernce after the result but its not showing on admission portal pls kindly help

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 24th Jul, 2019

Hello

Usually after you have taken admission in one course but you want to change your course you will have to do it offline. In some colleges ,for exmple, if you take admission in biochemistry but you are more inclined towards biotech then after taking admission in biochem you can go to the administration and request them to change your course. However you cannot always jump between your choice at the time of form filling and at time of course registration, example you cannot jump from english to maths as they are entirely diffreent disciplines and the cutoff of one may be higher than the other.

As far as online change in course is concerned you cannot do it after the form is submitted.  Once you’re admitted in a particular subject, you can change your subject only before the last date of admission provided seats are available and you meet the requisite cut off. You can get information about admission from the following sources:-  University website:http://www.du.ac.in  University Information Centre- Phone no. 011-27006900/155215 WEBSITE: http://uic.du.ac.in  You can visit help desk conducted by the office of Dean Student’s welfare in Room no: 5, 1st floor, Conference Center, opp. Botany department, North Campus.

I have 88.3 percentile in du jat with best of four 78% . Will i get any college from du jat ?

Raji_49 Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2019

Hi Vishal,

A candidate must score above 90% in DU JAT  to be competing with other candidates to admit themselves in a good college through DU JAT under DU. According to your scores, the result is quite difficult to obtain a seat in a good college under DU through your DU JAT score. Also your best of four percentage is also less, hennce makes your possibility even less.

Be confident and do not loose hope and try your chances of obtaining a seat in other colleges.

You can also prepare well and appear for DU JAT  next year.

I have scored 76.693 percentile in DU JAT and 78.75% in Class 12th. Do I have a chance to get into BMS/BBE with this score? General Student

Ayush Agarwal 23rd Jul, 2019

Hi,

The colleges are alloted for BMS and BBE in the basis of the rank of the candidate in DU JAT exam. So, as you have given only your percentile, so it would be very difficult to tell if you will get a college with this or not. I'm providing you a list of previous years trends of cut offs for the colleges. I hope it will help you.
