no specific books have been recommeneded but you can go through the following guidelines :
The Faculty of Law, Delhi University changed the exam pattern of DU LLB Entrance Exam in the year 2017. The law entrance exam is now conducted in online (computer-based) mode each year in the month of June. The official schedule will be released shortly at LL.B. - University of Delhi.
This year, DU LLB is expected to be conducted on June 18, 2019. Law aspirants can register by visiting the official portal and completing all the steps before the window closes in the 1st week of July 2019. The speculations related to medium of exam has also been put to an end. Candidates can attempt the exam in English only but the instructions will be in Hindi and English.
Mode of Exam
The mode of examination for DU LLB changed from offline to online mode in the year 2017.
It is a Computer Based Test, wherein, each candidate will be appointed a computer at the DU LLB Exam Center only.
It is suggested that each test taker must practice through ‘Online Test Series’ only.
Duration of Exam
The duration of law entrance exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
It will be conducted from 12 pm to 2 pm.
After submission of the test, candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.
Type of Questions
Questions in the law entrance examination are objective type i.e. multiple choice questions.
There will be four choices to question.
Candidates have to mark the most appropriate answer.
There will be a question of an essay too, which is descriptive in nature.
No. | Name of Sections
There will be four sections in the examination.
The name of the sections are General English; Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency; Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Current Affairs.
DU LLB Marking Scheme
Each question in the exam will carry 4 marks.
For every correct response, the candidate is awarded 4 marks.
In case of wrong answer, there is a penalty of 1 mark.
For un-attempted questions, there is no negative marking.
In case, a candidate marks two answers to a question, it will be treated as a wrong answer and there will be a penalty of 1 mark.
DU LLB Syllabus
Syllabus for the UG program covers questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The GK and Legal Aptitude section will carry the highest weightage in the law entrance exam. The details regarding each course in order of their weightage is provided below:
In General Knowledge
The syllabus is usually very vast and varied for this section. This section will include questions from both General Knowledge as well as Current Affairs. The questions on GK will test the static knowledge of candidates on some of the prominent aspects of national and international level.

Banking & Finance
In Legal Awareness & Aptitude
This section will test candidates’ ability and interest towards understanding and solving issues of legal nature. They will have to apply their research aptitude and reasoning to solve various legal propositions.

Today the centre allotment list has been out. You can check your name in the list and I hope they wo give us the schedule of commencement of classes in next week.

As per the last year trends for admission in Delhi University for 3 year Law the cut off for admission for the OBC category was a rank of 141 in the year 2018. And in the year 2017 the cut off rank was around 210 for OBC. So the cut off changes each year due to similar factors and you can expect a similar range this year too. Considering your score chances seem less but you can still try in the subsequent counsellings as this year it might be different.
