Other Backward Classes- 3100-3900, 200-210
Scheduled Caste- 5670-6790, 160-180
Scheduled Tribe- 9610-11750, 130-120
This is according to the previous year cut trends and level of examination this year. Considering this you do not have any chances if you belong to the general Category. You will have chances if you belong to the OBC/ SC and ST Category.

Well going by the DU LLB cutoffs in the previous years, I can say that you have a fair chance of getting admission in DU with your rank. There also lies a fact that in DU LLB entrance all the candidates who have got the same marks are given the same rank so there might be many more candidates who are there above you. So you cannot completely rely on the previous year cutoffs as the number of candidates keep changing every year.

See, This DULLB follows little bit different criteria of cutoffs. Take for example your's friend got 145 marks and 180 rank, it doesn't means he secured 180 rank out of all the 18000 students appeared in exam. All the students who scored same marks as your friend got(145 marks) are given same ranks. Similar wise there are many students who rank 1 because they all secured the same marks.

There are almost 5000 students above your friend according to the 2018 result, so there is very little chance of your friend to be admitted in du LLB CLG.

You can have a idea with this. Consider this firend as a female candidate.

The cut off last year in the first round was 134 rank for the OBC category. In the second list, the cut off for OBC category was 141 rank or 184 marks. In the third list, it was 143 rank or 182 marks.

You might get in easily, however, the cut off changes every year.

You might get a chance in DU LLB with your OBC rank of 160. Based on the previous year cutoff it you can get a chance in 2nd,3rd or 4th cutoff.The previous year cutoff is given below:

• Other Backward Classes 134 1st cutoff

Yes,  Given the category cut off for the previous years you have a slight chance of expecting a call from law faculty,  DU. However the allotment would be done on the basis of rank and also the level of paper. Of students of your concerned category opt for the seats then it would be difficult otherwise generally the marks you have obtained are enough to secure the seat.

according to the previous year cutoff and your rank , its difficult to secure admission in DU in first and second cutoff altough you can try in 3rd list in which you may get admission.

Cutoff rank for obc category was 134.

second cutoff : cutoff rank 144 and cutoff marks 184

third cutoff : cutoff rank 166 and cutoff marks 159
