Age limit
Only candidates within age limit of 18 – 42 can apply for the post of assistant dental surgeon.
Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.
Required Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Degree in Dentistry (BDS) or equivalent qualification with valid registration from Kerala Dental Council.
Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR is applicable.
Those candidates claiming equivalent qualifications other than the qualification mentioned in the notification must produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of Verification.
At the time of Certificate Verification candidates should produce a Gazette Notification along with Non Creamy layer Certificate/Community Certificate if there is a difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in S.S.L.C book.
Hello Divjot Kaur , From some research on internet I found that most of the medical field professionals say that dentist is better life than doctor because there is no late night calls or emergency for dentist no problem at weekend and most dentists are self-pay, so avoid the headaches that doctors face dealing with Medicare and multiple third party payors.

There is no sectional cut off marks in NEET so if you score the minimum cut off marks by only attempting questions in Biology then you are eligible to seek admission in any medical College provided you must fulfill the other eligibility requirements.
Now, the cut off for dental Colleges in Maharashtra under state quota was around 330 and above considering this you may get seat if you score minimum 350-380 marks because cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc. And scoring 300+ in Biology alone might not be possible as there is negative marking in NEET. So you need to attempt Physics and Chemistry to get good marks.
