Hello,

Desh Bhagat University, usually known as DBU is a private university in Punjab. It is UGC approved university. It offers a wide range of course related to different fields at undergraduate, post graduate as well as doctorate level.  The university also has an international campus located in Kenya.

It also offers BDS course. The cutoff for the respective is low as compared to other private dental colleges in Punjab. The admission in dentistry is based on NEET UG score. The total fees for the course including hostel charges is around 8 lakh rupees. But the fees may change as the authority can decide to change it any time.

Dear, It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 260 marks you hold a good  chance to get  a seat in

Every branch has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Every branch is unique in its own way. Although, in the above mentioned list , I have mentioned top specialities. Hey there

The candidate must have completed MBBS degree for taking admission in MD anatomy and for MSc anatomy in the candidate must have completed Bachelor of Science anatomy from a recognised University. There is nothing above mentioned about BDS I am not sure about this.

AIIMS doesn't have dentistry course in any branches. Although Apart from MBBS, the other Undergraduate (Bachelor) courses at AIIMS are:

  • Nursing.
  • B. Sc. (Hons.) in Medical Technology in Radiography
  • Bachelor of Optometry

Aiims provide Post graduate courses in dentistry.

For getting any dentistry college in india either public or private you will have to crack Neet exam which will be conducted on September12 this year. Application windows are already for this year. So if you want to dentistry you must appear for neet and get qualifying marks.

For doing fellowship after BDS completion candidate has to appear for fellowship entrance test that is FET. After getting entry into the fellowship program one can only do one of the fellowships program at all.
