Hello Dear,
the closing rank of MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy(DVL) for a general candidate was 2763. But if you have state quota, and if you are lucky enough to not be in high performing states like Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala etc then this rank goes down. It also depends upon the category in which you belongs. You can check the cutoff list through the link below

ALL THE BEST.
Hi doctor!
Congratulations first of all for getting a decently good rank. Dermatology as you know is quite a coveted branch these days. Diploma in dermat is a 2 year course and MD as you would know is a 3 year course. In private practice and in private jobs, whether you are an MD or a Diploma holder makes little difference in the long run. The choice between the two would matter more if you plan on eventually joining a medical college, where diploma is a great deterrent to promotion. Also, I would like to bring to your attention that in Dermatology jobs are very limited and even Medical Colleges rarely have vacancies so most people sooner or later start their own practice. Therefore, if you have that kind of vision, having a Diploma in your hand is also a good option.
All the very best!
Hello, Dermatology is one of most popular speciality among doctors. But you cant opt for dermatology after 12. you need to clear neet and then pass mbbs and then chose dermatology as you specialty in the post graduate studies.
