First of all congratulations for your brilliant achievement.
If you want to stay in Gujarat, DAIICT is your go to option for studying Computer Engineering.
The proffs are great, the environment is wonderful as well as competitive giving you the chance to develop and culture here is awesome for someone who wants make all round development of its self.
Also SVNIT is not known for CS course and there are many other NITS like one in Warangal or Surathkal which has excellent CE program. So if you are hell bent on NITs pick one of these instead of SVNIT. And DAIICT is always a good option to have of you dont get admission in any of these.
All The Best.
Hi Aspirant,
It is not an old branch in DAIICT.However infrastructure is quite good with good campus environment and the faculties are also very good .The course of CS and Mathematics are there and it is quite good and you dont have to study much of electronics and communication technology which is quite good.Companies who come here offer good placements and also mainly software companies recruit many students.Faculties are quite helpful and knowledgeble.
Hope this helps!!
Hello,
Indian candidates can get admission into DAIICT through GUJCET as well as JEE Mains and also through ACPC Merit List. NRI or foreign are also eligible for DAIICT.
ACPC merit list is made considering 60% of your 12th standard board result and 40% GUJCET result.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
Hello Candidate,
DAIICT is a one of the premium institute of the Gujarat and it is a first choice of students so compition is is more here and you have to work hard than others to get an admission into the DAIICT.
There is no any particular formula by which we can tell how much marks needed for that,
But as per the previous year's cutoffs your Rank should be 300-400. So equivalently your marks in the boards should be greater than 90 in all subjects and total GUJCET score should be above 100 Marks.
Dear aspirant,
Both DAIICT and SVNIT is best in its own way. DAIICT has great placements, great academics , experienced faculties. Infrastructure is good enough. Placements in DAIICT are excellent. In ICT stream nearly 80% of students get placed. But comparing it with CSE in SVNIT, SVNIT will be somehow better as here almost over 90% students gets placement and average package offered is also better than ICT in DAIICT. In the last year highest package offered to a CSE student of SVNIT of 39 LPA, which is quite good.
Now if you consider on campus placement as your parameter you should go for CSE in SVNIT. But in term of infrastructure, academics DAIICT would be a good choice.
Hope it would be helpful.
